All right. News from other groups are saying the Carver is closing there doors. I cannot find proof of this anywhere. Please, say it ain't so.

Maybe part of the big Carver news we never got which I would think has to do with maybe a buyout. Speculation only at this point.

No kidding. When you see termination dates, not a good sign at all.

I thought the other thread was along the lines of "big news, but not necessarily bad news", so I'm hoping it's nowhere near "closing their doors"!!!

No surprise here really. Time will tell whether it was a good thing or not. Sometimes it's the best thing to happen to a company. Fingers crossed that's the case here. We'll see.

We may be relying more on our forum than ever to keep our carvers going if this is true.

Hopefully that's just a legally-required notice to give the new owners some flexibility in doing staff changes that might be necessary.

Is this really recent news? I found this news article, dated Jan 2020. Maybe they never found a buyer?
