Boat rail screens...where to find?

Postby afirebrand » February 27th, 2014, 6:44 am

Has anyone seen any rail screens like the one on this boat?

My 560 has only plain rails and I don't want my little nephews wriggling through the rails. The rail screen looks nice and it'd serve a great purpose.

If anyone's seen anything like those screens, let me know!
Thanks!

If not available through Carver, I would bet any local plastics shop could make these.
Thanks

How do you know whats available through Carver?
Does Carver have a book of parts or aftermarkert accessories? There's nothing on their website.
Do you always have to go through a dealer?

The Carver world is all new to me!
Thanks

Yes, you do have to go through one of their dealers...or a past dealer like the place I work. If you do anything, have your hull ID # to give to the dealer so he can get the correct item. That "screen" is not a Carver item though...it is something someone had custom made

I have had very good luck calling Carver/Marquis Yachts directly and talking to the parts department (Brett). Have your boat info ready, Model, year, and Hull number and they will be able to tell you if they have what you are looking for.
