Hello i dont know if you thought about it but I can suggest you type "rivets" and also new search "aft panels" in the search on the top right on this forum you'll get lots of info on options. The originals aren't the best and you'll see what others have done. They are 1 1/2" long rivets. I on my 97 405 with the same rivets chose to use stainless screws and white plastic screw covers. I don't trust the plastic rivets and you'll also find some have lost sections of the panels and these are no longer available to match either so you might consider another mounting option but that's up to you.

The screw covers are available at any hardware store. I got these at Ace Hardware.they do a nice job of making this look nice. Theres other ways but I liked this look. Those rivets are a problem waiting to happen in my opinion. I just don't want to take a chance on a panel coming loose in a blow and loosing it.
