Carver 350 aft cabin shat bolt issues

the boats sheered long story short i need to find replacement bolts
does anyone know what size they are they are round head square neck bolts i need to know the material and length

They are likely silicone bronze carriage bolts.
https://www.mcmaster.com/products/silic ... age-bolts/Don't know the diameter, but you should be able to find it with the existing bolts. Inside the boat, where you'd have to tighten the nuts, the rest of the bolt should be laying there (or still stuck in the hole).

The bolts are the least of the problem. What caused the bolts to shear and what other damage has occurred. Did you hit something? If fatigue due to vibration, the vibration must have been severe for a long time. Looks like some extensive inspection and repair.
The cutless appears to be worn. If both this cutless and the strut end were so loose that the vibration actually caused bolt failure, the gland, shaft, coupling and main strut damage could be severe.
And how worn is the other shaft assembly?
