Re: Help!!! Need info on 2005 Carver 33 SS
We moved from a Cruisers 280 to the Carver 36SS. Both have "wet" heads. (shower in head, ) At least in this one, it is just the potty itself, not the entire head. We looked at our boating and found that the shower is not a big part of our time aboard. Inland boaters, weekend overnights, maybe at the dock, maybe at anchor, occasional trips to town (more when near Chattanooga, less near Nashville, Chattanooga's waterfront is miles ahead of Nashville's) It is just the two of us, and the unfrequent unplesantness of a wet head was not enough to justify the addition of the room needed for a seperate shower.
With that said, if it existed, I wouldn't shy away, it's just in our case, it's not a dealbreaker, and we knew the situation going in.
Bob!

I think the bed has a slight tilt to it from front to back, so if we did that wouldn't blood rush to your head?

Did you buy the boat? We have a 33ss 2006 and really like it. The bed did take a little adjusting to, but after the first night or two, we never even think of it. Our principle concern was beam and length since we are limited by TVA to 1000 sq ft dock. Ridiculous, but that is our government at work for you. Our version has the second state room. So, we use it all the time with guests.
Have no real complaints with the boat, though we are still planning to add an inverter this summer, probably after the July 4th holiday. Has run well, and fits the bill for a river/lake boat on the Tennessee.

I"m really sorry for the thread drift, but as I was rereading this post, with the deviation to a discussion of wet heads, I really couldn't figure out how moving my feet around to the other end would fix the head.... The worst part is, at first, I tried to picture it!
