Does anyone know where to get the vinyl type textured wall covering from an 83 3207 Aft Cabin?

You will need to remove old vinyl first, suggest you use a multi tool, the old glue will cut quickly. Try not to damage vinyl during removal, you can use this a template for laying out new one. Once old vinyl is removed, if the raw fiberglass surface is lumpy with imperfections, hit the high spots with a sander using 60 grit. Next, in order to hide transfer, I suggest 1/4" foam backed vinyl, this helps to prevent transfer of hull imperfections. Only use 3 M adhesive spray, recommend watching You tube video if you have never done this job before. 3 M adhesive remover for clean up. Last you will need to add some kind of teak trim to hide vinyl joints. For vinyl, Joann Fabrics, Marine connection Ft. Pierce, or local supplier in your area. Find supplier that has seconds in wide rolls, Bolts come 54" wide. Best price I have found, depending yardage purchased, $ 5/7 per lineal ft. This is not a hard job to do. The end results are worth the effort. To job this out would be 15/20 grand for a 35'/45' boat. Make sure you buy enough to handle entire project, color match will be very hard to replicate.

Welcome aboard.

Carver may still have info for your vintage. Contact them with your hull number and they may be able to give you supplier information and the part number for the vinyl used in your build.
