1995 355 Swim Platform

Postby BRHEAUME » July 14th, 2022, 7:34 pm

We're getting ready to install a new Davit system on our Carver 355 and was inquiring about the construction of the platform. Is it a solid wood core or a hollow core?

It's a cored platform with the underside somewhat accessible through the aft cabin but only part way in. I don't think you'll reach all the way to the back of the platform from what I recall. To put backer plates on for through bolting, I think you'll have to cut access holes under the bottom half.
