I have the complete parts list, blow up, wiring diagrams and manual. .
In FL now but when I get to the boat I’ll gather it all up. I suppose I’ll need to get copies made of the whole thing.

Hello,

I just bought a 1999 53 Voyager as well with a known cutlass bearing issue and appears the previous owner hit something with the starboard prop, which had a ding. I had it hauled to be checked out as well as bottom paint and it was determined that we should pull both shafts and props were sent to be straightened. I'm conservative and don't mind getting it right. That said, the boat yard said it would take 46 hours X $135hr = $6210 labor to pull and put back straightened shafts and props, which were sent out to a specialist for another $6K. I was living on the boat in the yard when they pulled the shafts and it certainly didn't take a bunch of guys and a lot of time to pull the shafts. Does all this sound in-line with industry standard or am I getting hosed? Is it out of line to ask for a detailed hourly accounting?

Thanks,
