I spoke with Blake. They are having an issue with one of the chemicals. It still may be a couple weeks before they can send any out.
He says they don't charge the card until the order is shipped.

You can wrap the rails with Protect-It. Sailrite sells it. Sunbrella will scratch he panels. Use 40 gauge Strattaglass next time. The thin cheap plastic is the problem. Tenera thread will also outlast the fabric and you won’t have the re stitching problem but most shops don’t use it so you keep coming back.

Thanks for the lead on Protect-it. Looks like the same stuff my car covers are made of. I ordered a couple yards. Probably only needed one.
I do use 40 gage as well.

Re: Any new ideas to keep eisenglas from burning on the Bimini rails?
I have been using the soft, loop side of velcro to protect my Eisenglas for years with great results.
I buy 1" rolls of adhesive backed velcro, cut to size, peel and stick to the bimini support rails where I am concerned with abrasion or burn.
I have black canvas and the velcro blends right in when looking from the outside, and from the helm you don't really notice the velcro unless you're looking for it.
It has been an inexpensive, simple and effective solution for me.
