I'm having some trouble keeping my fresh water pump working and now the onboard pump is pushing water out the shore water receptacle. I have owned this boat for 3 years and installed a fresh water pump 4 times. It keeps dying on me. Is this a common problem? Also last weekend I noticed the water tanks draining really fast and found that the fresh water pump was pushing water out of the shore water receptacle on the back deck. Anyone have any advice?

There should be a check valve. Follow the hoses and you'll find it. I bet it is stuck.

I had the same problem in my last boat. In my case the shore receptacle contained the check valve and it had to be replaced.

Forward stateroom. On the floor between the door and the bed is a cover. It's under there.
