I have a 2005 Carver 411 and the battery charger for the generator does not seem to be getting power to charge the battery. I have searched for a tripped breaker but can't find one. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Neil

Re: Battery charger for the generator
My Westerbeke had a bad rectifier in the 12v charging circuit. A $2 part from Radio Shack fixed it. You need to put a volt meter on the charging leads from the genny to see if you are getting any output. There may be an adjustment point on the genny circuit board if the voltage is just low.

Re: Battery charger for the generator
I think we have isolated it to the 8 amp fuse on the AC side of the charger circuit board. Thank you AaHubb for the help.
