Not sure about the Nova cool, but most of the older refrigerator's do not have a circulating fan inside the unit. They depend on the cold air "falling" from the freezer. If you put items that are not cold or open the door often they don't get very cold. I have seen some add on circulating fan kits that would help your problem. Or get a cheap small battery operated fan and place it on the bottom shelf, I bet you will see a distinct change.

Is yours a two door or single? Does your model have the freezer on the bottom? If so, you have a fan. Check to see if it's working. If it's not, that's likely your problem. Is the evaporator (freezer) clear or covered in ice? The ice will reduce efficiency and not cool down the other compartment enough. If you have the specs, see if it has auto defrost. Check your door seal, make sure the mating surfaces are clean and that the seal is sealing properly all the way around.

Mine is a RFU8000 with a freezer on the bottom..where would the fan be located...the evaporator in the freezer is good and clear...freezer works great....the plate in the refrigerator does build up with frost and ice....door seems to seal off good...hope it is as simple as the fan not working...if i can find the fan
