CO2 detectors went off while underway
Took some friends out for a cruise on the bay yesterday. Everything was fine until I opened her up to about 4000rpms then the Co2 detectors started going off. I immediately slowed down to idle and checked around. Inside smelled a little bit like gas. I will say that I had left the sliding door wide open during the whole trip. I’m wondering if it was the fumes from the two engines going into the salon area???? Also had just filled both tanks before heading out.
I have a 350 Mariner
Many Thanks
Rick

Re: CO2 detectors went off while underway
Good news is that it's an easy fix, cruise with the sliding door closed and perhaps a side window or two open. That's what we currently do.
