I have a missing piece of window channel/trim on my 356. Anyone have a source for it. Attached is a photo of the shape I am looking for.
Thanks in advance

Please post your findings if you do find it hopefully someone here will be able to help. You might call carver/marquis and see if they can help with manufacturer.

Is that just an end-cap piece missing, or should that curve down? It looks like the glass (plexiglass?) is curving down just past the end.
If it's just a cap and you can't find a replacement, it looks like a perfect project for a 3D printer!!

No it’s the channel the plexiglass sits in. I will email Carver to see if the can help. I could not find any reference of it or the window wrap around in the parts manual.

So after talking it’s Carver they gave me the part number of the windscreen which was made by Aluminum 2000. They have been bought out by Pompanette LLC, which has discontinued the parts for that windscreen. So the search continues.

I wonder if you'd have any luck with the boat scrapyards on the east coast or down in Florida? They might have parts from a hurricane-damaged 356. I'd also look/ask around to see what other models that was used on... perhaps Carver could be some help there as well.
