ladder hardware
I am looking for the hardware that holds the swim ladder to the boarding ladder of a 89 aft cabin. I have googled it but apparently I am not using the correct term.
Thanks

Re: ladder hardware
I agree, the ends of the rungs are the better location for fastening the assembly. The first time the wife hurts her foot on a piece of hardware in the middle of a step will be the last time she goes down that ladder until it's fixedkm1125 wrote:Source of the post ...I always wanted to change that to the type that Viper posted, but those are too wide to screw into the ends of the steps.

Re: ladder hardware
BTW, whatever finish you apply, you should consider adding a non-skid additive so the rungs aren't slick and provide a good grip when they're wet.

Thanks
I had a 3607 of similar vintage and mine were definitely teak. I had to replace a couple over the years and they were surprisingly easy to make, as long as you had a nice block of stock to start with.
