New aft canvas

After a long wait I finally had my aft canvas installed. Old one was brittle and ripped to shreds from N Easter in October. I was able to sand down all lose pint on support poles, two coats on direct metal paint. We shall see how it lasts. I didn’t get the side windows with zippers, as we have the side doors. Also, we have “keetors” so we can take off one piece of canvas if we wish without removing the entire thing. Bridge enclosure goes up this weekend.

Canvas looks great. We replaced all our canvas on our 2000 396 1 1/2 years ago and the difference in installing and opening the canvas is a game changer.

We loved the bridge enclosure last year. This canvas guy is very meticulous and it reflects it in his price. Not even close to the least expensive. However, I learned with the piece above teh hardtop that although cheaper, it did not last. The PVC fogged up in a year, and now is like wax paper. I am glad I have real Eisenglass brand and sun fella. More pics this weekend with entire canvas vp. What a game changer to be able to see!

Looks good. Amazing to see that it "finishes" the boat. It looks naked without the canvas.

Thank you. I like what he did with the ladder entry in making it wider and also snaps on the fiberglass also. Looking forward to getting the forward section out on this week.
