Just to conclude this, ended up having to pull the fuel sender, couldn’t get past the elbow on the tank. Pumped 25l out of the bottom of which 5-10% was water. Took the boat out for a good long run getting the tank as low as I was comfortable with. Boat actually ran great. Best it’s run since I have owned it. When back to the slip and checked the fuel filter. No water whatsoever. Added some stabilizer and back over to the fuel dock. Filled both tanks for storage. Not cheap at 1.98 can/litre but I’m still a happy camper. Thanks to all who have responded. You are very generous with your experiences, knowledge and time. Great forum. I hope I can be so helpful to a fellow boater someday.
