Electronics question

Post by tonyiiiafl »

I have the new Ray e97 and e127 networked together. I am having issues trying to connect to wifi for updates. At my marina and others, I gate an error massage saying that "the ip adresss of 10.0.0.010at this source conflicts with the ip address of your Ray Marine network. Contact your system administrator". I have tried connecting with the cell phone as a hot spot but just get the same reply of "cannont connect". I took the displays home and they wouldn't connect here either. Any help?

Did you try to update them without being networked together?

I have an E97 and haven't had any issues connecting or updating. I use it stand alone. Maybe a network setting?

Raymarine has a pretty good support site.

I would go into the network settings and see if one of the units is set to a static IP address. They should all by dynamic if you're trying to connect to WiFi (unless you're managing the WiFi and are anticipating static addressing)

I have the es78 and just received the same message. Haven't dealt with the issue yet. My first move once at the boat will be to call Raymarine support.
