Dishwasher

Postby mikekomm » March 17th, 2014, 8:59 pm

I'm planning on purchasing an 18" wide dishwasher for my Carver 4207. Anyone have any recommendations? Brands / models to avoid?

I know it's an old thread, but I bought a SBT dishwasher from Amazon prime. Had a hell of a time getting the hoses hooked up right. Eventually cut the dishwasher hose added a fitting and ran it to a t in the hot water line. The only logical spot was right of the galley sinks. Works like a dream as long as you set it to pots and pans.

How much water do these consume? I have a trash compactor that I think is a complete waste of time and was thinking of removing it.

I threw out the trash compactor and replaced it with the dishwasher.

How did you get the compactor loose? Seems to be bolted at bottom?
