That definitely is one big power plant. Hope there's an answer to your question that doesn't involve cutting!

Have you called Carver by any chance? I did when I had questions about the boat before purchase. I happened to get a hold of one guy that worked on the boat during assembly, he knew every nook and cranny. Definitely call if you have not done so already.

No easy way around this if there's little clearance above the engine unfortunitely. There has to be enough room for the cover to clear the cam and valve train. I assume they'll check/adjust the injector rockers at the same time?
