It might help if you post the make, model, and gear ratio. There should be a plate mounted to the unit with this info on it.

I have a Model Velvet #20-01-005 with a 2:455 ratio that took a crap this past weekend.... Need a rebuild kit or a used replacement... ANY HELP???

Rebuild kits are easy to find and reasonably priced. A quick search for borg warner velvet drive will give you many options.
