HI:
I just bought a new to me 1988 Carver Montego 3257. I want to reupholster the settee/couch, but can't find how it's attached and it will not budge. Has anyone pulled their's out to recover it?

Do you mean the fold out couch in the salon? Ours just moves out from the wall, it's not attached to the floor or boat in any way.

There are probably screw through the backrest (in the pleats) holding it to the bulkhead, and the seat base is probably screwed from the underside (through the cabinet below). They should be two separate pieces.
