The Bow thruster was Side-pro twin prop, 100ft lbs thrust 24V, used all the way up to 55'
It pushes the bow around quite easily, short bursts are all thats required.
As Tony put it, bigger is better, and hardly anyone says they want less power! I think it was $60 or $80 more than the 80ft lbs model, same size tube. I think it was $14k including the dry dock/paint.

@CliffM - I just bought a 3227 Convertible and am in Seattle and it sounds like my swim step has similar issues to your's. Do you mind saying who did the work on your's?

sorry for the late response, "Tony" at Yacht Performance, in Lake Union did the work on our boat.

Sometimes my boat is a floating condo and other times it's a motorboat. I guess sitting still or moving determines which mode I am in. :-D
