98 355 Carver 7.4 Mercruiser rpms

Postby hawkinscm2 » April 23rd, 2020, 10:17 pm

Hey everyone! I just purchased this lovely 98 355 and on a 450 mile river run home I started having a issues with my port engine, after running for 1 1/2 -2 hours she starts losing rpms. I start out at 3200 rpms on both engines but the port engine will start losing rpms down to 2600 with the throttle wide open, after she sits overnight its fine for another 1-2 hrs. Any help would be awesome. Thanks

I don't have mercrusers so I don't know your fuel filter locations but have you changed them on that side? I know thats the exact symptoms I have on my crusaders when it's time/past time..
