2003 460 Voyager w/ TAMD75E Volvo Engines
Just put the paperwork in on a 2003 460.
Engines have 895 hours. Generator has 750 hours.
Engines are Volvo TAMD75E 480hp.
Looking for any and all good info on the boat.
Real world fuel economy numbers at say 10 mph and approx 20 mph cruise.
Will be wanting to change out all the lights to LED.
Ice maker on bridge is cooling but not making ice. Would like to be able to use it if anyone has any suggestions. I am not sure if it is the water valve or the head unit.
Any other good info would be appreciated. I am sure I will have lots of questions once we close the deal.
Thanks,
Tony

Re: 2003 460 Voyager w/ TAMD75E Volvo Engines
Congrat and good luck on the purchase!!
Is the icemaker cold enough to actually freeze ice but there's just no water? That could be a very simple thing like a manual valve that's shut off or a faulty electronic valve, float, or timer.
Did you mean 10 GPH at 20 MPH, 10MPH at 20 GPH, or something different? The first one seems pretty low for a fuel consumption, the second pretty high on fuel consumption and a bit low on cruise speed.

Ice maker is good and cold. I am guessing the maker itself is bad (electronic timer system on the front is not opening the vLve to flow water) but that is a guess right now until I tear into it.
I am asking for fuel usage numbers at 10 mph (off plane) and approx 20 mph cruise speed. I am not sure of exact cruise speed.

Welcome aboard, Rocketman. On the ice maker, you make be able to replace the ice tray portion. I did on my a few years back as the timer motor was shot on mine. Was really simple and easy to do.

will just an off the shelf ice maker from a regular fridge fit or does it have to be a special one for this particular brand. I am not even sure of the brand at this time.

The one used in my Uline ice maker is the same one used in many different makes and models of household refrigerators. Get the make and model of your ice maker and you should be able to find a manual online. From there you can cross reference the part number. If it’s the same as mine I can send you a copy of the manual.
