1997 Carver 430 Bed sizes (Manual)

Silly question, but our boat hasn't arrived at our lake yet and we don't exactly know the size of the beds. We want to go ahead and order sheets, etc.

The master stateroom is a queen, according to the 1997 brochure. What about the forward stateroom? The foldout couch? The convertible dining area?

We have five kids, so will fill every sleeping spot.

On a related note, does anyone have a suggestion for finding the owner's manual?

For both of these, I searched the forum and through Google and came up blank. The Carver site has manuals, but oddly not the 440.

Berths on boats are never standard bed sizes or even standard shapes. I would wait till you get the boat before buying anything.

Can you clarify what boat you have........is it the express 440 or the aft cabin my 440 ? I think both of those user guides are there.

It is a 1997 Carver 430 aft cabin.

I see now, you have the cockpit version..... wasn't sure when you mentioned the 440......anyhow there is a 95 430 cmy user guide......I wonder if the 95 and 97 are the same.......

There is a 97 430 CMY spec sheet though.

You probably have the boat by now. But we bought queen size sheets for the cabin beds, they are obviously oddly shaped you have to tuck a lot in. Haven't bought sheets for the couch foldout but I've laid on it and would call it a full size.

I have the factory manual, it's in a binder so I could take the sheets out and run them through an adf scanner. The manual is out on my boat but give me a few weeks and I can do that.
