G36, here are some pictures of the platform to give you and idea of what it was like. The crane on the back was from the previous owner to life his dinghy up onto weaver davits. I removed it and it still sits in the rafters in my garage.

G36, this is a picture of the Hurley Davits system that I had. It doesn't look like much, but it really did the job for my Brigg 330 and my merc 9.9. Really liked it and it was very reasonable. Now they have the H30 as well.

Yes I agree. I would have paid close to the soft cost number. I don’t think this platform can be compared to the cost of some of the after market platforms that are out there. They are probably fine in a lot of applications but just not the same structure as the one that was made by Crates. Some of the after market ones I wouldn’t put a dingy on, you would have to make sure they are designed for that additional weight.
