Not completely sure on the newer model but have a look under the dinette seats......
The above is strictly my opinion.

Ya usually under the forward bench of the dinette. I believe I've also seen them under the helm behind the bench in front of the helm. You access that area through the bench. It was a spot for the air conditioner as well in some models.

It’s not under the dinette (unless we cut through cabinets). Those accessible spaces are empty.

Areas under flybridge are empty.

Going back to the dinette, it’s possible it’s under the floor of the compartments under the seats, but we would have to remove about 20 screws. Does anyone have any input? Again, this is a 2004 Carver 360 mariner

You shouldn't have to cut thru anything.....on the 350 earlier models it was under the dinette seats when the dinette was on the other side, you had to lift out the storage tubs to reveal the access. The Carver parts shows it below the dinette area on the starboard side for your model, but maybe in a different spot on an earlier version......perhaps check all the seat area, you may have to undo some screws to get a panel off, but really shouldn't be too bad as you have to be able to service it somehow. Good luck man.

There are a few 360 owners on here who may chime in.

I have an '07 Mariner. Water Heater is behind bench in bow. Lift the back of the bench off, pull vinyl covering off. My heater heater is directly to the right when looking in the hole (would be port side).
