2000 Carver 350 Mariner portlight window

Post by cmilkosky »

Hi! We have a broken starboard portlight window on our 2000 350 Mariner that we need replaced. The parts manual shows what is in the "portlight" image attached and it's obviously #11. Then the part number page ("parts" attached image) is missing #11!!! Seriously! I'm sure someone at Carver is laughing at me right now.

Anyone know what the real part number is for that and have an idea as to where I can get one? I went here, and this looks like it, but would like to be certain.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Chris

ok - I do see now that the manual says that the starboard window is actually number 15 there (why even put 11 on there?), I assume the S in "WNDW:3597 S-SSCW BLK/GRY" means starboard. And that would mean the part number is 7060203. A quick google search doesn't turn anything up for that though.

Any help is appreciated!

I don't know for sure but I remember that window being longer than 30"....measure yours first.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Thanks @bud37. Will do.

Any idea who the manufacturer is for those windows? Maybe I can go back to them.

Carver should be able to tell you who the manufacturer was. Contact them with your hull number and they'll give you the Carver part number and the manufacturer part number. The challenge will be whether the manufacturer still has any in stock after 20 years. They can gear up for production but to just fabricate one will be pricey. If that's the case, ask them if they sell any overstock or discontinued product to a particular company.

I'm pretty sure there was another boater on here that needed to replace one of those windows and found the source. I think theirs was the port side. I'll poke around with the search and see if I can re-find it.

EDIT: Yes, here is the thread. It was a 350 Mariner port side window:

From the post: "Hi all, really thank you for all your suggestions. Taylor Made gave me the name of a possible manufacturer of the window. It's a place in Miami called Ocean Dynamics. They said they can make the window. I have since turned this over to my insurance for help as well."
