The aerators on my boat are a bit beat up from previous owner removing with what looks like pliers.
I can't seem to find any that are the right size (5/8") diameter instead of the standard 15/16".
Any ideas?
Or do I have to get an adapter and then use the 15/16.

Have you tried an RV place.....perhaps they may have the right size.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

I've actually found them in Home Depot or Lowes. They were on an end-aisle shelf, not really with the "normal" faucet stuff. I think they were actually for RVs (but not labelled that way) because there was other 'RV stuff' on the shelf too, the the power adapter cables for AC.

I have searched everywhere. Only thing I can find is an adapter that will fit the 5/8 inside the faucet and allow a standard 15/16 to screw onto it.

I just poked around on the lowes site. I see a lot of 13/16 and 15/16, so now I don't know what I had but I might have had 13/16 instead of 5/8. I just know it was smaller than standard.
