I'm very pleased to be a part of this forum now. I ran across it while searching the news about the closing of Carver Yachts earlier this year. A sad day.. but maybe not forever?
My Carver is not a "yacht" by any means but it is a 1967 Camper 21', a beautifully restored lapstrake wooden model and repowered with a Mercruiser Alpha1 by a relative of mine. Not sure how much discussion there is about these "vintage" boats but I'm happy to chime in on the subject at any time!

Wow...thanks for the the warm welcome everyone! I can tell this will be a fun group to be a part of.
With the weather closing in I haven't had the opportunity to take her out for a shakedown cruise or to build a proper picture portfolio so these pics are a mix of mine and the former owners shots. She was a rough "barn find" in Wisconsin...not too far from Pulaski as a matter of fact. Looks a lot better now.
