Looking at Carver 1988 3207 Aft Cabin

Post by Arthurm2 »

Hi fellow Carver Owners! Looked at a 1988 3207 today to buy, like the interior, has 2 Mercruisers - any opinions on this model good or bad?!?! If you have one, how is the cruising speed/handling?

We currently have a Carver Montego mid cabin cruiser and we love it, but looking for something bigger for weekending :)
Thanks for any thoughts

Welcome aboard. Where is home base for the Montego?

My first boat was a 1986 Carver 3207 and I had it for 5 years. Travelled from Lake Simcoe to Killarney and back a number of times. Had it in really heavy water as well in Georgeon Bay. I loved the boat. Handles well in big water. I had the 5.7 Merc’s and they were very dependable and easy to work on.

I would have no problem recommending the 3207.
