Thanks! I'll try it.tonyiiiafl wrote:QR_BBPOST Different boat but it snakes into the side channels and most of Taylor Mades windows use this particular stripping.

Does anyone know if the pile weatherstripping is just on the bottom, or all around the window frame?

Not sure on that boat, but on mine it was all the way around, both inside and outside.

Re: Window weather stripping (Cat Whisker) replacement
I was hoping to find some information on this. Our 76' Mariner leaks EVERY time we get even light rain. I've tried clearing the drains and pulled alot of nastiness out yet the channels still fill up and dump into the salon. There's no cat whiskers at all in there and I've been thinking that's just the way it's always been.... Silly me lol.... Or did they not use it that far back?

Check for all places where the water flows to. In my case the corner of a front window turned out to look fine but the caulk let water through and created quite a puddle in little time. Put some clear tape over suspected areas and figured it out eventually where it got through. If you look at the corners it looks fine, but apparently it goes underneath and finds its way.
The whiskers help to keep the glass in place, reduce wind and dirt going through but do not seal anything. You may have some caulk that keeps the frame in place that lets it through. had the same at the head, put clear (wide, thick) tape over suspected areas and thus found the route.
