New 27 Foot Santiago Owner - Project

Hello everyone, my name is Trent and I am soon coming into possession of a 1987 Carver Santiago 27 foot. This is my first boat in nearly 40 years and I am looking forward to restoring her. Lots of work to be sure but so much has happened in the 35 years since she was launched that I can't help but believe she will end up being a beauty. Love the lines of this boat and hope to update the interior based on newer electronics, layouts, and materials.

Viper, thank you for the note and yes, as with most of the projects I have done in my life (a dozen personal house rehabs, a van conversion, 2 airplanes) I had planned on keeping a photo journal of sorts and sharing with the group here as appropriate.
