I used a heat gun as recommended and removed the hose, then cut 1/2” off (that’s all the slack I had), cleaned the inside of the hose with a Clorox handy wipe, heat gun again, and put the hose back on while it was still warm from the heat, tightened the clamps, and cycled the system a few times. When I left the boat, the vacuum had held for 40 minutes without cycling. When I go back to the boat in the morning I’ll see what happens when I turn the DC panel on. It’s not ever held for 40 min! So maybe this is fixed now!
