Window screens

Post by Wayne162 »

Took my first look at my port and starboard window porthole screens on the 1997 405 and they appear to be in bad shape. The screens also look like its molded into the gasket. I probably already know the answer, but are these screens still available? The carver manual provides part numbers of 7057410 (P), and 7057411 (S). A search on the net provided negative results. Any help or advise is appreciated.

If you have a factory part #, contact Pompanette, LLC 603-826-5791. They provided me new replacements for my 98 Carver.

Not sure how your screens are made but on my old 31 ft Regal, the screens were two piece with screen sandwich in between. I took a razor blade and carefully cut the two halves apart and removed and replaced the screen, glued the halves together and clamped the halves until glue cured.
