1984 Carver Flybridge Help

A through hull is a hole through the hull. Below the water line are usually to let water in, as engine cooling, AC cooling, water for the head. About the only below water line through hull for discharge is waste water from the head.
If you can’t find a manual, any questions you have, just ask here. You will get the answers you need.

Ya that's the model I thought you had. You can pull the hose off the drive that leads to the engine but I would get used to removing the hose off the seacock instead as that's the way you should be winterizing so you run antifreeze through the drive as well because there is a built in oil cooler in the drive that needs to be winterized. If the drives have plastic fittings, don't remove the hose there.

Unless they were added later, you won't have intake strainers.
