Is this from a kit or did you design it yourself? We're looking for a davit and are trying to find various options.

Yes, I remove the motor. I'm running a Suzuki 2.5 hp outboard and mount it on the stern pulpit. The motor fully gassed weighs in about 31 lbs. so it is easy to take on and off.
