As far as what boat you like...I love the AFT cabin but can't really figure out a good way to rig it for fishing. Both the AFT cabin and the Mariner have their advantages. I am really enjoying the boat and I'm sure you will too

Thanks,
Steve

Hope ya got a big enough truck with good braking power! That's a big boat to pull.
Seems like a good price.

Be careful with that thought. Pulling is one thing. Stopping is another.
Also, pulling up a slippery ramp is a whole new deal as well.
I know people do it, but if you search YouTube, you'll find all sorts of videos of folks with 1 ton dually trucks in the water.
I am thinking the boat and trailer weigh around 15,000 pounds?
All I am saying is do your homework before you buy and make no assumptions.
Thanks

Re: Greetings a Newbie here, always wanted a boat now is
I got stuck out in a small lake here, Lake Simcoe, a few times during quick squalls and turning weather. The difference between my old 28ft Doral and my 30ft 3007 is night and day ! Both storms threw up 4-5 ft waves, which in a shallow lake is quite interesting as the frequency is about 3-5 ft apart ! Pointing the 3007 into the waves we ended up with a smooth ride with some amazing break coming off the bow and up over the covered flybridge
