I am glad we piped up on this 25W40 question. I am going to go to the Rotella this year..... I don't mind putting 30 bucks in my pocket whenever I can. I am also in the fall change camp right before haul out.

So... how often do we change our water separation filters.... every year... ever other???

I recommend every year as part of winterizing in case there is any water in there, if there is, I don't want it there for the winter. Small price to pay for peace of mind, and will give you an annual indication of what's going on in your tanks.
