45 bucks gets you chrome plated pot metal, or, stainless steel?
I'd go for SS.

Thanks for all the replies, at $45 a piece, I've decided I will be drilling new holes for the standard size deck rail fittings on the market. I found a company in VA Beach that has real nice all SS fittings for $8ea.

Jason, we come up to battery island, buoy 2, elk neck state park, the flats and lee's landing a several times each season to meet friends from Charlestown and northeast. what's the name of your boat? maybe we will see you somewhere this summer.

Thanks guys, yeah it will be the most cost effective, a lot more work but it will be worth it.

The boats name is "Just Jonesin" We mostly go to Battery island, some flats and on windy days you can find me huddled around Garrett.

as you head to Lee's landing we are the last marina on the right across from Garrett island on the Cecil side. Sam's Marina.
