Do yourself a favor.
If you plan on being in boating for a long time, and have projects such as installing new snaps, especially in heavy carpet and multiple thicknesses of sunbrella, buy a Hoover snap setter and something on the order of a Neico hole punch kit.
Do not buy the cheap junk usually sold in Marine Stores.
Yes expensive.
Aggravation = none.
Cost = priceless.

Also new owners of a 1988 montego 2757. Am redoing interior and exterior upholstery. Also looking for a resource for replacement parts like windshield wipers. That's just a start! It's definitely a work in progress! Any advice is appreciated. Also can not figure out why the galley sink won't work when the head sink does.

Several boats ago, I had a 1988 2757. It was my first "big" boat, and still one of my favorites except for the 3.7 motors. Sold it to a gentleman in Alabama.
I had it for several years and new it well. Be glad to help any way I can.

Couldn't find an exact match hatch for our 1986 32' Mariner, size wise was ok but had to fill the old screw holes and re-drill new ones because they won't line up! Mike

High hopes, I imagine you checked, but make sure the valves under the sink are open. If so maybe somewhere along the line the pipes were frozen and were capped off. Time to trace them out maybe.
