I bought the rivets and standoffs directly from Carver. Standoffs were a bit pricey but the rivets were cheap. No special name for the rivets just rivets for the dodgers (what the panels on the back are called). Parts were in stock and shipped quickly. I believe I used this number to get to parts department through a directory - 800-231-8978.

Update, Carver wants $6.56 a piece for the standoffs plus shipping. I have a guy custom making them for me in New Jersey at his machine shop. He's done really great work for me with aluminum and steel in the past. Who knew he did plastics too. When I get a price from him this week I will share with the forum.

I told you they were "pricey" but, I only bought a few. My issue was the rivets were getting brittle and breaking and I lost some of the standoffs. Hope your machinist comes in at a good cost.

Plastic rivets found on my Carver are not available at Granger. Only 1 " rivets were found. I was able to order them through Fastenal. They are 1 1/2 " matching the OEM spec. I could not find them anywhere else.

i had actually ordered some new rivets from carver made last year. what i was sent fit seemed to work but would not pull tight into the hole and the panel would not be held as it should. the ones on there were oem so these should have been a perfect match. rather than going through the process that i have seen others and some people having to try remake lost panels or do something else i have gone the stainless screw route also in addition i have used plastic snap on white screw covers over the screws i have replaced and they blend very well with the oem panel color. and black ones in the stripe that is on low on my oem panel. i do not have to now worry about these plastic rivets anymore and finding my panel lost to the drink.

I am going through a difficult search for my lost panel. I thought the corners were hard but the panels are harder to find. The panels are 105 " in length, but availability is restricted to 4x8 sheets. Carver no longer has them. I am actually considering aluminum panels that can be painted to match.
