Re: Shipwright 30 Charger?
I have done a lot of thinking about battery chargers given that mine needs replacing. I found this article thought provoking:
https://marinehowto.com/installing-a-marine-battery-charger/
Lots of things to consider and a few that don't readily come to mind when thinking about 'a simple battery charger'.
Then there's the inverter conversation - I ended up going with a Victron Smart Charger/Inverter all-in-one unit that will be installed in the springtime.
I figure that if I can make my batteries last twice as long, I will have saved money in the long run.

Re: Shipwright 30 Charger?
I have heard negative comments on Interstates before. The reasons I like them are 2 fold. 1. The fishing gurus that come to the store all swear by Interstates. They all run Minn Kota trolling systems with sophisticated electronic systems of GPS & Fishfinders etc.. The systems require excellent amperage output to run at optimal performance. 2. The Interstate rep that supports the store backs up the product really well. I have seen him replace batteries that users fried with bad connections or messed up networks, on the premise that the Interstates still should have performed better. I realize the individual reps will have different levels of "customer service" standards, but this guy is good for me. This boat stuff is fun, isn't it?

Any batteries from Johnson controls as the provider are OK in my book.......Costco's stuff ( kirkland ) used to be, not sure now.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
