A word of caution with that, some bug and other sprays for that matter use ingredients that aren't so friendly on rubber or plastics. Most diaphragms are a very thin plastic that might be damaged if an ingredient in the spray isn't compatible. It's not a direct path to the diaphragm but anything that's atomized might find it's way there.
