Stripped deck screws

QR_BBPOST I have the same boat, but older ('83 3607). Which ones are you trying to remove? You can get to the inside on all of them. In the salon you have to remove the shelves (4 screws) from the cubby holes, then there are two covers each with 4 screws in each one. That opens up an area about 2' high and 40" long and gets access to anything on both sides of the salon.

What about forward and aft?

I think all the foward ones are exposed. Just look up from the v-berth and above the cabinetry in the galley. I haven't looked for them all, but can't think of ones that would not be accessible. In the aft cabin you would have to remove a couple pieces of trim.. I haven't taken these off yet but I don't see much of a problem to do it, I thought about it once to run some wires but never ended up doing that I remember looking at the various screws and what I'd have to take off. Didn't seem like it would be a big deal.
