Re: Slow drains on a 2000 396 Aft Cabin
I would look into this as the shower sump when fouled or not working is not sealed entirely and every time you take a shower the box backs up and therefor you see slow drainage. What is happening is the full box is overflowing into the bilge which will become rather smelly if you do not take care of it in the short term. You may want to rinse out/clean the bilge once you are repaired.

Might be even simpler... do you know if your aft sump is working? Do you ever hear it run? Are you sure the breaker is switched on for it?

On my 2002 396 aft cabin the sump access is under the carpet just outside the bathroom door (aft of the door) the shower, sink and the aft AC drain into it. My shower drain is slow when suds are present, otherwise it flows well.tgebler wrote:I need advice on fixing slow drains in the aft cabin head for both the sink and shower. Thanks for the suggestions.
