I’m looking at purchasing a 55 marquis. The boat has 2 50amp power cords but our marinas only have 1 50amp receiver. So how do you guys get around this and be able to run the boat on shore power?

Need a little more info. Are your boat inlets inlets 50a 125/250 or 50a 125?

The 125/250 has 2, dog leg prongs compared to the 125 which has only 1. https://www.westmarine.com/WestAdvisor/DIY-Shore-Power

The 2 power cords coming from the boat are both 50a 125/250 and I have one 50a 125/250 receptacle in the pedestal at the dock. Is there anyway to make this work?

Yep... just get a 50A 125/250 "Y" adapter. You just have to manage your peak loads so you don't trip the shore breaker.

Any idea where to find one? Hubbell told me that one doesn't exist

You can verify is this is correct for what you're trying to do, but based on your description I think it is if you use your two shore power cords. There is a different one if you want to use just one shore power cord and have the "Y" at the boat (has reversed male/female connectors). Either way you're still limited to the breaker on the shore service, so one might be more convenient than the other for you.

Not sure why that link doesn't show up... let me try it this way:

Thanks for this info. The female ends look correct (with the 2 kickout posts recepticles on each side), but the male side only appears to have 1 kickout post which would mean thats actually a 50a 125v only male end wouldn't it? The description says exactly what I need though

Going by the description you'd think so but look at the female end. There is only one kickout slot and not 2 like the male plugs out of the boat. With all the Marquis out there I'm thinking there must be a solution

I'm being told that the one kickout indicates a 50A 125 plug and not a 125/250
