Yes, it Quartz . And had the bathroom counters done , as well . Adding a few trim pieces today for details. It’s going to be 80+ here on Lake Lanier this weekend , so once 5 hits, it’s a drink in my hand and no more work for the weekend . Nothing but cruising !

That looks great!
I wonder why Carver put that post there? Maybe had something to do with the lower helm option?

I think the pole is there as a interior design feature or handhold imo. . My 405 has no lower helm. I use it sometimes going up and down the stairs to help steady myself. So for me I would miss it if removed. I like the new countertop but on my boat I would have stuff rolling off the flat surfaces all the time without having a lip on the edge while rocking around.
