Mjk1040, I’m thinking your right. I’ve ordered me t’stats and gaskets. I may try disconnecting the chokes and see how that works. Love the help this forum brings. If I am not on a boat, I want to be talking about boats. Wife says I’m weird!

I believe you’re right. I ordered new t’stats and gaskets this morning. I may disconnect the chokes and see how that works. Thanks for the advice. Love this forum and all the experience ya’ll bring to the table. If I’m not on my boat, I want to be talking about boats. Wife says I’m weird!

They may be new, but are they good and working properly?? Also, they do need to be adjusted so they pull the butterfly open the correct amount after the engine starts.
